So much to do!

I love working in the garden this time of year. The weather is perfect; not too hot nor too humid.

I planted my moon flower vine today. I always have one running up the light post next to the front walk. Also planted geraniums in the front yard and in pots. Been pulling lots and lots of weeds, and pruning back the bushes along the property line. I also planted some simpervivum (hens & chicks) in the front yard where it is rather dry.

I also pruned the azalea bushes this morning.

There is no sign of my shasta daisies yet. I'm surprised about that. But, the coneflowers and black eyed Susan's I divided are certainly looking better. Rose campion is now blooming and the peonies are budding. Iris are about gone.

We had 3.25 inches of rain over the weekend. I think we are now officially in a 'moderate drought' situation.
